The Digital Communications team provides strategic direction and implementation services for Wake Forest University’s website and associated web properties. Our team develops and maintains the University-wide content management system, while integrating content and design services that are consistent with our identity standards.
The photography office creates high quality images that tell the story of Wake Forest to a wide audience. We maintain an archive of campus photos from which you can request images. We’re happy to provide a photographer for your event, and may partner with trusted professional freelancers to cover your request—we’ll discuss logistics and cost after reviewing your request. Free headshots are offered once per month to faculty and staff.
This is Wake Forest University’s primary news source and first point of contact for reporters. Our news team helps media by facilitating interviews, connecting with faculty experts or providing interesting story ideas. A staff member is on call 24/7 for media requests at 336.758.5237. Our team also offers a variety of communications resources for Wake Forest students, faculty and staff.
To share a story idea that may be of interest to journalists, sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org prompts the quickest response because all members of the Wake Forest News team will receive the message.
Inside WFU is an internal communications tool that encourages communication and promotes community among faculty and staff. Members of the campus community are encouraged submit items for consideration.
Use this form to request broadcast emails from Wake Forest University to alumni and other external constituents. Do not use this form to request on-campus emails to students, faculty or staff. For on-campus email requests, please contact Mark Anderson in Communications and External Relations.
CER continues to review project requests. However, our working conditions have changed due to pandemic-related challenges. Across Wake Forest University, reduced work hours and voluntary furloughs have been implemented to offset the impact of lost revenue. CER’s top priority is to remain a good campus partner, but it is likely we will not be able to accept all project requests due to limited capacity.
